John James:Pedophile Protector
John James is unfit to be governor, and it has everything to do with how he’s handled supporting the victims of Jeffrey Epstein. Time after time, James has sided with protecting pedophiles over ensuring Epstein’s countless victims get the justice they deserve.
How many months did it take John James to vote for the Epstein files in Congress? 11.1 And that’s only after Trump told House Republicans that he approved of their release.2
Epstein's victims are still waiting for justice, and that means bringing to light everyone involved in this vast criminal network that used his wealth and power to get off the hook and commit more crimes. But James voted to block the release of the Epstein files, choosing instead to protect child abusers, rapists, and a sex trafficking network that exploited girls as young as 14.
And after repeatedly blocking the release of the Epstein files, guess who James chose as his running mate? State Representative Jay DeBoyer, who himself covered up investigations into Epstein’s abuse in Michigan. After another representative criticized DeBoyer, who chairs the House Oversight Committee, for refusing to look into Epstein’s crimes at the Interlochen Center for the Arts, he removed this representative from the committee as retribution.3 According to the Epstein files, Epstein and his henchwoman Ghislaine Maxwell used the northern Michigan arts academy to “prey on girls.”4
Michigan doesn’t need two pedophile protectors in the governor’s mansion. This November, Jocelyn Benson and Winnie Brinks are the choices our state needs to keep women and girls safe.
Vote for Benson and Brinks on or before November 3, 2026.
